Hidden folders windows xp problem

Windows 7 I had an encounter with a virus, which had a play with my registry so that I cannot view hidden files and folders. I am running Windows 7 Profesional x64 There are a few values, Default and Checked in 2 sub folders in the hidden folder. This thread is locked.
